How to restore CISCO 7942 after "hard reset"?
Problem essence: Is cisco 7942. It was necessary to alter it. Made a hard reset: 3491672850*#. The screen does not show anything (blank screen). I'm trying to flash through tftpd64 server. But in the logs there is such garbage
Rcvd DHCP Discover Msg for IP 0.0.0.0, Mac B8:BE:BF:22:A8:04 [26/03 13:23:23.330]
Client requested address 0.0.0.0 [26/03 13: 23:23.330]
DHCP: proposed address 192.168.1.2 [26/03 13:23:23.330]
3484 Request 2 not processed [26/03 13:23:23.393]
All this is repeated ad infinitum. A bunch of English-language manuals have been reread, but nothing helps. There are options?

Translocated You seem to have done a hard reset, there is an option to return to factory default - holding # at boot, and when the line light blinks - dial 123456789*0#
And be sure to then issue option 150 along with the ip address.
Apparently, the phone does not receive an ip-address, it is necessary to configure a DHCP server in tftpd64, approximately as in the screenshot where 192.100.100.8 is the address of the computer interface and, accordingly, the tftp server.
This is repeated ad infinitum with these settings.
With any other settings, it's about the same. Any more ideas?
Good time. I did everything the same, only with Cisco 7965. After hard reset 3491672850 * # does not start, reboots in a circle with an interval of ~ 2 minutes. Raised tftpd64, threw the firmware into the folder (by reference ) - it does not pull up the files. Does anyone have a working solution how to animate a brick?
