Computer won't start after system upgrade. Do I need to reinstall windows after a hardware upgrade?
Hello, I installed a new motherboard, processor and RAM in the computer, when turned on, the download goes to the windows 7 icon, the logo starts loading, then for a fraction of a second the death screen (only with other inscriptions), and the system starts up again. The hard drive in the computer is old. The question is, can this problem be due to old drivers, or an old Windows? Will reinstalling Windows help in this situation?
(ps put the old hardware back, everything works)

IDE-ACHI-RAID in the BIOS needs to be switched to the same mode as it was in the old PC.
First, check if your hardware (processor, motherboard) supports windows 7, if support is indicated, then reinstalling the system may help, if there is no support, then install a compatible OS, compatibility is indicated in the device specifications on the manufacturer's website.
What processor did you buy? I advise you to upgrade to Windows 10, because. new processors are not friendly with 7 (at least ryzens. I don’t know about intels)
Run sysprep.exe on older hardware. The system will get rid of iron. On the new hardware it will start as if it had just been installed. It will be necessary to select a region, enter the account of small soft ones (well, or skip the entrance to this account). All data and settings will be saved. Then install drivers
