Compressed and regular CSS, how to switch?

Friends, such a question. What is the best way to deal with compressed css? The HTML file links to the minified CSS, which is in a separate folder. If you need to edit the code, then I edit the usual (not minimized), which I then minimize and replace through Gulp. It all seems very annoying. Are there tools to help make the process easier, or maybe I'm doing it wrong somehow?

@BaJar

usually we hang up watch and gulp cam looks at what files have changed and rebuilds to the front, in general, very quickly and conveniently. To this, you can also hang LiveReload
