Component is hidden from edit mode, how to show?

Hello!
In general, the problem was that the component that displays the rss news feed stopped working.
I was asked to take a look. I don’t understand 1s Bitrix, but I had to climb into it.
So I open the page in edit mode -> move the mouse over the component's place -> a gray block appears with a pencil "edit" (or something like that)
1. and further on the advice from the forums - to make the component work, remove the php "<? ?>" from the component definition and saved the page - good, the component definition code appeared on the page.
2. then again set the borders of the php code "<? ?>" , saved it - and now the component has disappeared from the edit mode altogether, when hovering over the borders, no editing gears appear.
Most likely, when adding borders, I made a syntax error.
But how to fix it now? Where can I find this component definition or what is it called?
