Compatibility of wireless keyboards and mice with Linux?

Hello. I want to buy a wireless set from MS for Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, consisting of a mouse and a keyboard. And immediately upset - at the office. The site does not even claim limited support for Linux (although there is support for Android, iOS, and limited MacOS). What difficulties can I face buying such a kit for a single board computer running Linux? And, in particular, the problem with the sleep mode of the bluetooth keyboard (it seems that you can disable sleep mode in Windows, but not in MacOS).
And in general, which wireless kits (keyboard + mouse) are the most friendly with Linux?

Everything is working.
Theoretically, difficulties with exotic buttons are possible, but it seems that there are solutions.

I had only two sets of keyboard mice - Logitech and Microsoft.
Both work without problems on Linux (I have Mint).

Any kit should work on any system - the host implementation is the same everywhere.
An exception may be a thread of a terribly specialized kit, but I have never seen such a kit even in production :)

Wireless keyboards and mice from Logitech and M$ work without problems - in fact, I prefer M$ keyboards. The mouse from a4tech will most likely have to be configured in Windows, but it should use the memorized settings everywhere

In the vast majority of cases there will be no problems. But something can always go wrong.
