Combining two routers into one network?
Hello, dear Habra community.
I am writing with this question.
There are two routers: Linksys wrt54g and Apple Express Airport . It is necessary to make the Airport "eat" the Internet from Linksys .
The bottom line is that Express Airport is used by Apple products because of the great Airplay feature . But here the Internet is distributed through Linksys via Wi-Fi. Leaving only the Airport will not work, since it is far from the main cable of the provider, and it is impossible to shift the cable.
Now I'm thinking how to get the Airport expressreceive internet from Linksys .
Thanks in advance.

A simple option, without knowing the hardware, is to plug linksys into the apple WAN port. And configure as a provider that issues settings via DHCP.
What is Airplay - not in the know, if not tied to routing - cut down the distribution of DHCP on the apple and turn it on to the LAN port, like a switch.
Here they say that you can only connect Apple Express Airport via Wi-Fi with another Apple router. In the case of another manufacturer, only the cable.
Do you want Apple Express Airport to both receive over WiFi and distribute over WiFi? Does he even know how to do that?
