Coexistence of Win8.1 and Win10?
I want to split the disk into 3 sections: one for Windows 8.1, the second for Windows 10 and the third for files.
Question: what about applications? In terms of, I would not want to install the same application separately for 8.1 and separately for 10 - the free space on the trees does not grow. Is there any way to install the application in the third partition of the disk (without OS), and use it both through 8.1 and through the top ten? Will there be conflicts?

Look at the application.
Most modern:
1) Write their information to the user's folder. Those. they will work both there and there, but with different data / accounts / settings
2) They can write something in ProgramData and most likely they won’t start without it
3) They can install some kind of system stuff (from services to drivers), and it’s also unknown what without them will be on another system.
In short - something simple - it can and will start with an eye to point 1.
