Code editor for mac

Would a respected community suggest a subject with tabs, syntax highlighting and the ability to work with cyberduck, not overloaded with additional functions and preferably free? I used Textmate - but tabs do not work for remote documents, and cp-1251 is sometimes frustrating. Texwrangler is crooked.

I recommend MacVIM. But you won't find anything better than TextMate - it's true. If TextMate was free, I would use it.

Coda is not free, but in my opinion, it’s better not :) Working with remote sites is generally a song - and it remembers which files were edited last time and the appearance with animation touches me.
I don’t know about CyberDuck, because I use transmit - this is how it works with it - when saved, an open document is automatically synchronized to FTP (or ssh)
+ install the zenCoding plugin if you have to typeset.
+ CodaAutosave plugin - which automatically saves all files when focus is lost from the window

PHPStorm is very good. True, it is paid, but it's worth it.

For such cases, you can use Coda, has not yet failed. And so, as mentioned above, TextMate (alas, the problem with tabs remains). Alternatively, with a large number of windows, use Spaces to "unload" the workspace.

Having tried both Textmate and Coda and Espresso in due time, I switched to Eclipse. I've been on it for over two years now.
For me, one of the advantages was that in Eclipse I work under both Windows and Mac.
There are a bunch of plugins, including those for SVN, SSH, FTP.

try aquamacs, a version of the well-known editor adapted for os x. even out of the box it offers good opportunities, though in any case you will have to get used to it, but believe me, it's worth it!

NetBeans, TextMate, MacVim - take your pick.

I recommend looking at the Vico editor - many features from TextMate and Vim, actively developed. But paid (see Mac AppStore), but the site has a trial version.
