Co-editing tables?

excel and google docs are fundamentally different things. It won't work with Excel.

In the menu "File - View history of changes" there is a display of those who have made changes and highlighting the cells.
There was also a functionality for suggesting changes that can be approved / rejected, if I'm not mistaken.
