CMS for photographer?

I want something simple for a photographer's website, where there will be some information and sample photos. Putting some kind of loaded tsms like: joomla, drupal and other things, and then just attaching a gallery there, I think it's not worth it.
Having climbed the site, I came across two links, the first of which I liked, but judging by the posts in the topic, it became paid.
- PixelPost (pixelpost.org)
- Zenphoto (zenphoto.org)
I would like something simple and not cumbersome, maybe someone has met a similar tsms-ku, I'll be back for a link to it.

The CMS for everything is Wordpress. Just smoke it right, and if you have imagination, you can do things that WP is simply not capable of at first glance :)

I would recommend wordpress.
Why?
1. There are many free and paid wordpress themes for photo galleries and/or photo blogs.
2. By installing a few plugins you can provide beautiful lightboxes for users to view your photos.
3. Set up voting and ratings for your pictures for your users.
4. Variations of modules for creating photo galleries. Someone likes it better.
I can advise you to watch for 1-2 hours just the same video course on creating a photo site based on wordpress: rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3168110 . True, you won’t be able to download this image, it’s closed by the copyright holder, but the copyright holder’s website is indicated. Plus some, like me, once downloaded it.

Install Wordpress - there are tons of themes specifically for photographers and studios. In general, WordPress can be tailored both for a photo studio website and for a photographer’s portfolio.
Examples of topics:
A selection of themes for photo galleries
Theme Revolution
20 professional themes for photo galleries
If you have any questions about Wordpress - installation, configuration, finishing the theme - ask, I will help you.

There are specialized galleries, the most popular being 4images (rus autoinstall) and Coppermine Photo Gallery (rus autoinstall) .
Another option is CMS + plugin. One of the most popular solutions is Joomla + DatsoGalery (gallery) + PhocaDownload (file download), there are also Russified assemblies .

Look at www.photoshelter.com/ - there are both paid and free accounts, plus you don’t have to bother with hosting and support

And I suggest Drupal. Install, disable all unnecessary modules, add a gallery. It will turn out a very easy site without any bells and whistles.

What didn't suit ZenPhoto? Convenient and simple. Otherwise - Wordpress builds (themes + a couple of plugins)

-if you need to show pictures with comments, available in 58 languages, free of charge, uses tags, comments, the ability to add HTML pages, themes, plugins, user registration and much more. If you need more text than photos then Wordpress builds (themes + a couple of plugins) like bigpicture .

WordPress with Elementor builder is fine. It has both regular galleries and tiled tiles with a separately customizable view for:

  • desktops
  • tablets
  • cellular.
