Clustering on VPS is there a lot of traffic?
The question is, is it possible to make a cluster of VPSs that are located at different providers in different data centers, and in general, maybe even on different continents. In theory, it is clear that it is possible, but I'm wondering if there is practical experience, or at least tips and warnings ...
PS The answer to the question, why is it needed? I'm going to create my own mini hosting purely for my projects, I don't have money to rent a server, as well as for a collaboration, to keep a separate VPS for each project, it's expensive for administration. It's easier to assemble everything into one machine, and inside already use nginx / apache to divide it into virtual hosts.

Interest Ask. As far as I know, even well-known and popular solutions like OpenStack and proxmox (paid) are aimed at creating VDS from one or several physical servers. The main ideology is to ensure reliability. Any virtual machine, any physical server can die - the system should work regardless of this. Google style)
I haven’t even heard of such a thing in order to combine several servers into one large VDS.
But you need to understand that in any case there will be no savings in administration.
You still have to maintain all the source servers + maintain the virtualization system itself (which can be very expensive).
In general, the economics of the event eludes me anyway.
https://poiskvps.ru/index.phpsays that you can take, albeit not very reliable, but quite fast vds already for $ 2-3 per month. For $5-10 per month, you can already take something with a claim to reliability, for example, firstvds.ru
I think that such a vds is enough for a huge number of non-commercial projects.
A quite decent dedicated server can be taken from 70 euros per month www.hetzner.de/hosting/produkte_rootserver/px60 we use 20 of them, hardware failures are very rare and are quickly eliminated by the hetzner himself.
