Cloud Linux server can be SaaS?

Let's say I have some kind of server (for example, AWS EC2), some software is deployed on it, and anyone can connect to this server via ssh and use this software. For example, the user gives his code to the program, which, in turn, does something with it (for example, performs dynamic analysis). Do I understand correctly that in this case this server can be called SaaS?

SaaS is not about technology, although indirectly because of the need to implement this, they depend on them, it's about billing . This is a form of granting access to the resources of their machines, order, protocols, limits, etc.
Therefore, yes, if you offer someone access to your machine to perform some tasks, having determined some kind of payment procedure for this, and offer some kind of service, for example, rent and customization according to the client’s wishes, then this is already software as a service.
