Cloud for sending pictures?
There are a lot of pictures on the site, which in certain periods (so I think it's better to take a cloud) severely load VDS'ku (especially from 500Kb of a picture), up to departures. In the period of 10 sec. traffic can reach 1GB per upload.
I'm thinking of transferring the return of images to the cloud, but which one? What can you advise on price / stability? I heard about GAE, Amazon, plus I also heard about Selectel.ru, maybe I missed something?
How is it generally done? Those. Is there a service in the cloud that will return the URL of the image by ID?

One hundred megabits is a lot for vdski? Nginx shutting down? With large amounts of traffic, it's easier to use a few vdsok, let's say.

I don't understand servers well, and what I will say is more like another question, not a suggestion. ) You can write a “server” daemon
yourself , which will listen on a specific port and give only static? It will simply be deprived of all the goodies that servers like nginx or apache have, but, thanks to this, it will process requests faster. Shouldn't that reduce the load?
