Is language support installed locally on the machine?
I saw a lot of problems if locally there is only an English locale (or even worse, a second one, something like French) and remotely - Russian.
Moreover, at the time of copying, the selected keyboard layout must match (but there are more problems with input, punctuation marks do not work correctly, for example)
