Clicking the extension icon in the address bar again?

Hi Habr
I'm making a Chrome extension and noticed that it doesn't close the popup if I double click on the extension's icon in the address bar.

This is specific to Windows. But on Linux, Chrome does what I'm guessing: it closes the popup after a second click.
Tell me, is it just me or is it a platform-specific feature?

It appears to be a configurable setting. I tried it on two extensions:
- iRider closes its window on the second click, although it’s hard to call it in an app
- ABP - no
