Clicker with the analysis of pictures (activities) on the screen for an Android application?

Good day! Dear experts, tell me please!
At work, I needed to automate an application.
I wanted to use the Tasker application, but there is no analysis and image search. (look for the icon that appears).
The bottom line is: I want to make something like a bot for an Android application that would perform some actions on the screen, in the application, analyze what is happening on the screen (search for a picture) and perform simple "actions" (pressing a button (image)), depending from what is currently happening on the screen. A "blue dog" appeared - performed action1. A "different picture" appeared - performed step 2. I found a cool solution for a PC that monitors the appearance of a "blue dog" and "another picture" on the monitor and does what I need, but this does not suit me, since I drive all day , and all the work in the tablet (I work as a sales representative). I need everything to be at hand.
If Tasker is not suitable for solving my problem, please tell me how to solve this issue.
I came across a course by one specialist "Automating Android Applications", which tells about the fact that Appium can automate actions with the application.
So I’m thinking, I’ll write a “super mega advanced clicker” for my application, only more professional, using non-sliced pictures, on which the clicker searches for images and performs actions, but I will use resource-id to work with program elements (application activation).
I installed and tested jdk-8u181-windows-x64, android-studio-ide-173.4907809-windows, Appium addon. Cucumber framework.
I tried to create a script on a bunch of Cucumber RubyMine.
But then I was told it was for testing, not automation...
I really liked the function of searching for an object by resource-id .... but it was not possible to automate it.
Please tell me a tool to solve my problem.
Thank you.
