Hello. I want to clear the HDD to give to a friend. I want to clean it, because there is a lot of personal stuff on the HDD and I don't want my friend to restore it. Interested in cleaning Gutmann.
HDD I remember cleaning for a very long time around 2006, I stupidly stopped and scored on this matter. It's already 2016, so I hope there are some techniques to speed up the cleaning, with the help of... I don't know, processor or video card.

Does your friend work for the FSB? Why do you need Gutmann? Clean by DOD

Set up several thousand passes and wait until the HDD has exhausted its entire resource. And after that, you can safely give the disc to a friend.
