Cisco tranceivers: which ones to choose?

Good afternoon community!
There is the following task: there is an old Cisco 3750G-48TS switch. A new Cisco WS-C2960XR-24PD-I switch is purchased. FC multimode is laid between them.
What transceivers to choose? Are different models of transceivers compatible with each other? For example, it is planned to buy an SFP-10G-SR in a new switch, but, as far as I can see from the Cisco compatibility table, the same cannot be inserted into the old switch. What pair of transceivers would you recommend?

SFP+ transceiver, SFP ports, will work?

No. SFP + only 10GE, SFP - 1GE (well, or 100M). There are no 10GE ports on the 3750G and 2960 , so your chosen module will not start. Switch models are relatively new, any cheap 1GE modules will do.

Or maybe you can buy 2 SFP-10G-SR (or other 10G) and put one of them into the old 3750G-48TS? SFP+ transceiver, SFP ports, will work?
