Cisco Training: IT Essentials?

Good afternoon!
I'm in college in my first year. I am interested in information technology, currently working part-time in a call center in the technical support of the provider. The college has the opportunity to take a paid course on the basics of IT at the Cisco Networking Academy: IT-Essentias: PC hardware and software. The description of the course says that the course allows you to master the fundamental knowledge and skills of using information technology, obtain international CompTIA A + certification and start working as a system administrator. Is there anyone in the audience who has taken this course? Does this course provide real skills for subsequent employment as a system administrator?

Cisco Networking Academy: IT-Essentias: Personal Computer Hardware and Software

It sounds absolutely undignified and too simple.
Now I have exactly the image that will pop up in my head when I hear the word "useless".
I started working many years ago as a system administrator without any education and work experience, only with burning eyes. Maybe it's not yours?
Yes, it gives something, only here "personal computers" are still an assistant to the system administrator, in the common people "enikeyshchik", one of the necessary steps for SA.
My advice is don't waste your money.
