there is a phone 8961 connected to the asterisk via SIP. but I can't find anywhere how to set up an extension module for it. in which direction to dig? maybe for him what other thread xml file is needed?

As far as I remember, in order to make the 8961 work via SIP, it needs to be reflashed.
I have an opinion (somewhere out of the corner of my eye I came across) that Ciscophone expansion boards do not work via SIP, but only via SCCP
