Can you provide a photo? Are you sure it's the second and not the third slot (they are signed)?
In addition, next to the slot on the left, "SUPERVISOR" can be written on a blue background - a supervisor is installed there, respectively, a line card cannot be installed there.
In short, if I understand correctly and this is still the 3rd slot, then no, you can’t.
