Choosing Visual Studio to learn C# from Andrew Stillman's Learn C# 3rd Edition?

Good afternoon.
I just started learning c# programming and at the first stage I had questions.
The book suggests installing Visual Studio 2012, there is the ability to create a Windows Store -> Blank App (XAML).
I had VS 2015 installed and it had a Windows Store entry, and installing tools for universal apps was unsuccessful.
After installing VS 2012, I was given a report of known incompatibilities, and by default, the required item is also missing.
+ on my weak laptop VS 2015 works, as I see it, slowly.
Help with advice in solving the situation or choosing Visual Studio.

The book prompts you to set the current version to the date of publication, this is obvious. Basically, you have several options - 1) if you are a student, then take part in this project. Will give the necessary software under the license. 2) Install the Express version. Just be careful in choosing the version. There are stupid restrictions in terms of templates. If in general - in the learning process, the type of the template does not matter much. You can create Blank, or you can already fill it with garbage.
