Choosing the best CMS for a web studio
As far as I know, many studios use free CMS to create websites. The question is not whether this is good or bad, but which one is better and suitable for most sites? I would like to use one, maximum two CMS and not waste time on mastering the full set, since in most cases what can be done on Joomla can be done on both Drupal and MODx. WordPress can be used for small sites, but it is not suitable for online stores or large sites.
So which bundle is better to use:
1 WordPress + Joomla
2 WordPress + Drupal
3 WordPress + MODx
4 Paid CMS

Take Bitrix, so you can catch clients who want Bitrix, and there are quite a few of them. The cost of the license will be paid by the client.
WordPress + MODx IMHO. The first option will allow you to fight back with little blood. And if you need something super complex, you still have to write a lot of your own code for any CMS, and for MODx it will be much more pleasant and easier.
2.3
Yes, and it would be worth getting acquainted with one or two of the paid ones
And having at least some kind of store in the arsenal
Try everything possible, even if one project on each.
When you can answer this question for yourself, then you can open a studio.
Many advise Joomla, but why is it so good then? I've tried it and I obviously didn't like it.
We must look at the system as a whole, do not forget that cms is needed not only by the developer, but also by the client to administer the site. You will do it on one, and your client will regret the money for a normal administrator, and the burdock will buzz all his ears, saying that it’s not my hands from the ass, but the cms is not the same. And that's it, you will lose confidence. In addition, some systems are really more difficult to understand for the average user, and some are simpler, but have less flexibility in development.
Try. Nobody canceled personal experience and their bumps. Working with any of the CMS requires personal participation, in theory they are all good, in practice nuances come out. Good luck!
Wordpress+Drupal
For simple sites - get-simple.info - it's the best!
I know many studios work on amiro cms, which is convenient because there is a boxed assembly of editions of online stores, business cards, corporate sites. Studios only need to tighten the design and sell, less labor costs and more profit if you calculate at an average competitive price for selling sites.
