Choosing hdd, raid0 from two hdd(5400) vs one hdd(7200)?

There are 2 options:
1. raid0 of two hdds with a rotation speed of 5400 2.
one hdd with a rotation speed of 7200
I still make backups every day.
Only speed matters.

If there are two slots for disks, and an SSD of the required size is too expensive, then any HDD + the smallest cheap SSD and set up flashcache (the question is tagged Linux). In terms of cost, it is not much worse than two HDDs; in terms of performance, such a bundle is better than any raid.
