Choosing equipment for video surveillance in a small area along with Unifi Video and Unifi Protect?
Good day. I would like to consult on the choice of a video equipment manufacturer similar to Unifi Video and Unifi Video video surveillance systems from Ubiquiti on a small area (50m2)
Task:
- Organize video surveillance from 4 to 12 IP cameras with IR illumination.
- Access to video and video archive from Android u IOS phones.
- Access via the Internet and in the local network.
- Easy to set up, user-friendly interface (Plug and play), set it up and forget it.
- Notifications to the mail, when the motion sensor is triggered. (Or other alternatives)
- Adequate price.
- Good manufacturer with reliable equipment and security.
- * (can be skipped) In the future, the possibility of expanding the video system into something more .. adding wi-fi points and various sensors for the "smart home".
Problems:
- Although I like the Unifi system, everything depends on only one manufacturer.
-Dahua does not want to bet, because minor problems with illumination were noticed.
- Regarding Hikvision in 2016-2018, they wrote that there were security problems.
What are some good CCTV alternatives from other manufacturers?
I would be grateful to everyone who will express their point about the use of "video equipment" from manufacturers (Dahua, Hikvision, Axix, Ubiquiti) on their own experience (pluses, minuses and problems)
Thanks for the answers.

Hikvision has never seen anything better. No one has a better web muzzle. If the price bites, then watch HiWatch - this is their budget line.
Trassir has now started releasing cameras under its own brand, which are similar in appearance to ActiveCam. If you do not want to bother and buy a ready-made type "plugged in and works." You can look in their direction, they have simple servers.
On unifi - as far as I remember, they do not work on onvif, which greatly reduces the flexibility of the system. I don't even look in their direction.
"small problems with illumination" speak of the quality of the matrix, not the brand. If these are "thousand-ruble" cameras - no matter what brand, the matrix there is bad.
Axis is the benchmark for quality. A sort of Cisco in the world of video surveillance. A good image is guaranteed, no firmware glitches, flare. The price is appropriate.
The main players in the lower and middle price range are dahua, hikvision. Most of the brands sold with us are from these manufacturers, only with a different sticker.
