Choosing a router to connect via L2TP tunnel?

You need to create the following connection:
1. Connection to the provider via PPPoE.
2. Launching home network traffic through your own VPN server that runs on VDS - L2TP / IPSEC.
3. Is it desirable to let some of the traffic, for example, a torrent through a provider, and not a VPN (is this possible)?
Recommend a router for this case. Theoretically, I'm considering ASUS RT-N66U or some of the Mikrotiks. Tell me what to choose.
