Choosing a platform for a small online store?

The work turned up, to build a small online store. Work in the future, I plan to start in about a month, while there is an opportunity to choose a platform and deal with it. I have never done online shopping before. Not that I'm not in the tooth with my foot. I know pretty well everything I need... php, js, mysql, html (bootstrap, foundation), I know some php and js frameworks. I do different things mainly for intracorporate use, but I had no business with an online store.
The store is not big, the goods are all of the same company, a small assortment and almost all of the same type. Filters by product parameters are not needed. The picture is the cost. Cart - payment by card. It should be concise, stylish, beautiful. The audience is young girls.
The client wants it to be on Bitrix. But he is far from the topic, and apart from Bitrix knows nothing.
I heard that there are some other free platforms, but they are not advised, because. then there are a lot of fees. (quote)
Finally, questions:
1. Which of the platforms is the most convenient and understandable in terms of client use?
2. Which of the platforms is the most simple and understandable from a developer's point of view?
3. Which one has clearer documentation?
4. Maybe some way allows you to reduce the number of unnecessary gestures in solving this problem?
5. (because then there is a lot of paid. (quote)) - What did he mean? Any additional extensions?
6. Can you recommend something else?
I would be extremely grateful for a little educational program.

standard Bitrix functionality. You can find a ready-made store in the marketplace that best suits your requirements. buy it and don't sweat it.

bitrix, opencart.
and so: on what you know how to do well, do it on that.
and for questions - Bitrix for all personally suits me. When you know - it's not difficult to do

You need to choose the taste and color ...
As a Joomla, I recommend jbzoo

I made stores on Drupal 7 + Ubercart/Commerce, now I work with Wordpress + Woocommerce.
If you take these tsms, then Wordpress + Woocommerce is quite suitable for your task. Everything you need is out of the box + the presence of a bunch of free and paid templates. The payment system module is $20-30 if the system does not have a free one. Yes, you can write it yourself.

In Drupal without experience, it is better not to meddle.

Any free platform will work for you. If you know everything that you have listed, it will not be difficult for you to finish any cms to any state.
If the client has a lot of money, you can try Bitrix.
