Today I set myself the task of rewriting an old application (Access + VBA) in a new way. The application has a lot of functionality, and it is constantly growing. Therefore, it has become increasingly difficult to maintain this application lately, Access and VBA capabilities are not enough.
Help with the choice regarding which framework to use for these purposes.
Cross-platform as one of the criteria (Java frameworks?).
The idea of ​​rewriting applications is not even actually in the very fact of "remaking", but in the opportunity to learn something new, and simply to occupy oneself with an interesting task.
