Choosing a computer for 1s 7.7?

Welcome all!
Need help with 1s version 7.7
Initial information:
there are 2 bases 1s 7.7 enterprise
The size of the bases is about 3-4 gigabytes (1 base) (file version)
Placed on qnap ts -431 (samba protocol) and ssd disk
The base is also located on this qnap 1s 8 (no complaints about her).
Active users 1c 7.7 - 5 people
They began to complain about the slow speed of work. And if someone does the wiring, then all work stops ...
I tried to transfer the databases to another computer running windows 7 (32 bit) (samba)
Characteristics:
Core i3 540 (3 GHz)
4gb ram
200 gb hdd
They said it became even slower to work.
What characteristics are needed for correct operation in 1s 7.7?
Thanks

Only switching to RDP will save. Well, if the size of the largest file in the folder with the database is approaching 0.5GB, you should think about switching to SQL or trimming the database - problems with getting the correct numbers in the reports may begin.

It's not about the characteristics of iron.
The 7.7 filebase is a set of DBF files, so forget about everything you heard about transaction lock levels in adult DBMSs - it just locks the file, and then, in addition, its CDX index is rebuilt. Such a system is simply not designed for multi-user operation.
Some of their 7.7 made ultra-fast and convenient solutions, but almost everything was rewritten there, 1C ++ and direct queries to the MsSQL database were used (in the file version, you can’t even dream of normal operation).
