Choose a game engine?

Good afternoon. I got the idea to make one not very complex 3D game, but I can't decide on the choice of the game engine. Once upon a time I tried to deal with Ogre3D, but I did not master it. Now I’ve been doing research, but it turns out there are so many of these engines that my eyes run wide, I don’t know what to choose. So, what would you like:
- Cross-platform. Support for particularly alternative pathforms is not required, support for Windows and Linux will suffice;
- The presence of a choice of scripting engine. Ideally, it would be nice to be able to script in lua or ruby;
— Sufficient loyalty of the license. Of course, I don't mind opening my future sources, but they will most likely be terrible;
- Availability of related software. For example, Ogre3D does not have native editors for maps, models, etc.;
— The main programming language is C++;
- Ability to work (or already built-in) with popular physics engines;
Optional requirements:
- Support for large open spaces is not required. I would like to make a platform game like Trine, but even simpler;
- Face animation is not required;
Thank you for your attention. I would be grateful for any advice.

I still advise you to study Ogre, and enthusiasts have already written many useful programs for it, including the scene editor.
Panda3D is easier to learn, but there are no auxiliary programs.

I recommend the Alternativa3D 3D flash engine (free, by the way, the famous “tanks online” are written on it), here is my work on it, completed within 10 minutes, despite the fact that I saw the action script for the first time. A huge plus is the availability of documentation, video tutorials in Russian for beginners.
