Chinese electronics market

Hi all!

I'm starting to explore the markets of Chinese electronics. Tell me where there can be pitfalls. How can you limit yourself as much as possible from throwing and other wickedness. What can I learn new about Escrow protection systems. (Mostly read in the English wiki and here ).
In general, literally everything is of interest, as they say, from the idea to unpacking the goods at home.

PS I am interested in Alibaba and Aliexpress markets .

PSS Why are the prices so contrasting? For some “medium power” garbage , devices have almost the same (sometimes higher) cost as in the store. For others, laptops with i5 processors are priced at $ 200. plus free shipping.

Here are some of my tips, I hope they will help:
1. You need to monitor the price of the selected product in different stores - very often you get a big difference. I myself used dealextreme, focalprice, buyincoins. You can find quite a lot of them.
2. Be sure to use paypal - it makes it easier to work with returns in case of jambs: you can open an incident directly in paypal if you could not agree with the seller himself. PP, in turn, helps to resolve the return issue, although most often you can negotiate with the seller himself. For example, if you sent another lot instead of one, you can demand that the seller reimburse the transfer of the lot back to him (initially you will have to invest your own money) or pay them the difference between the lots (with a small surcharge for moral damage :)). This scheme with small things works for me (once I had to deal with it) - we agreed with the seller quickly, the money was returned via PP in a day.
3. Before ordering equipment, read reviews on store websites, forums, hubs, etc., carefully look at photos and videos from customers (the goods on them are closer to reality than on the seller’s photo).
4. Number tracking is a useful thing, pay attention not to its presence in the order. Tracking on russianpost starts in 1-2 weeks, before that you can only see movement in China from the seller to the place of departure in the Russian Federation.
5. There are many articles on the topic of receiving a parcel in our mail - read how, what and when to inspect, sign, dispute, etc.
6. At first it's hard to get used to the "contrasting" prices, but don't worry - it's just a habit with our stores. It's different in China :)

Be careful with alibaba, even their gold supplier ($3000 per year), with ratings and reviews, is scammed. My issue was resolved by 70%, the seller's account was blocked, and 70% of the amount was returned to me.
