Checking python scripts on Ubuntu?

Hey! I'm trying to write scripts using python. I write a small part of the script in pycharm on windows, then I upload the script to the virtual machine, do dos2unix, chmod and run it. Question: is it possible to do all this in windows (write and test) and, when I am satisfied with the result, use it in Ubuntu, and not do all this
Or just put it on ubuntu (virtual machine) and test it there right away?
Thanks in advance

Can.
Read basic things about python.
For example, here
And if you get confused, then you can make remote develop and debug
PyCharm Community does not know how to remote, only for money in the Pro version.
