Chat for Google Talk website chatback badge - is it a good choice?

Good afternoon!

Unfortunately, I am far from web development, so the questions are rather lame.

On the website of the online store, you need to tie an online chat. In terms of functionality, the Google Talk chatback badge suits perfectly:

  • one operator is enough;
  • integration with GTalk is required (not with any Jabber, but with GTalk);
  • completely satisfied with the price :)

Testing showed that the chat does not work for everyone. In some browsers, the chat window does not open, in others, the user is required to install a plugin.

And now, in fact, the questions:

Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah, is it possible to do something with this?
Do other online chats have similar problems, i.e. does it make sense to look for an alternative?

Answer the question

In order to leave comments, you need to log in

The gadget just doesn't have integration with gtalk. If the user writes from the site, then a link appears on which you need to go to gmail and only there you can communicate.
There are more convenient ones, with integration into the gabber, if desired, into gtalk, for example:
siteheart.com/
www.olark.com/
