Changing the IP address of VirtualBox (VPN / Proxy) and connecting via RDP from the Internet, can it be implemented?
Hello. I was interested in such a question, I’ll say right away that I don’t really understand network technologies, as well as, in principle, in IT. Therefore, do not throw slippers, just wondering if it is possible to implement this.
In general, I have, for example, a VPS server on which I ran a VPN / Proxy. And I want to connect it to a virtual machine that I create on my host, for example, that is, I send all traffic through it. Is it possible to somehow make it possible to connect to my virtual machine via RDP from the Internet, but not at my local address or the address of my provider, but at the VPN address, that is, the VPS server.
That is, for example, the address of my VPN is 111.111.111 (as well as the address of the VPS server), I run a virtual machine through it, and when connected to 111.111.111:Port, it connects to my virtual machine, not to the VPS server.
Is it realistic to implement this? Or maybe there are other ways to change the address of the virtual machine after connecting via RDP. I will be very grateful to those who will give a detailed answer.

Hello,
Well, what a mess in your text, it's almost impossible to understand what kind of topology you have...
1) what does it mean "on which I ran VPN / Proxy"? - how to do it on VPS VPN? you can install a VPN server or client on a VPS, but it's not clear how to do it.
2) "to the virtual machine that I create on my host, for example" - on which host, what kind of host, on another VPS or inside the local area or where?
3) "the address of my VPN is 111.111.111 (as well as the address of the VPS server), I start up a virtual machine through it, and when connected to 111.111.111:Port, it connects to my virtual machine" - this is just incomprehensible - what is it I start up a virtual machine through him in what way? and who is "he" who connects to the virtual machine?
Of course, I understand what you want, according to the fashion trends of our time, to create something "anonymous-private-by-passing-something-there", but since you lack basic knowledge even in terms, then answer your question can be like this - "Really by 50%."
I understand that I described everything very vaguely.
1) I made my own VPN out of VPS, i.e. through the OpenVPN script.
2) For example, I create a virtual machine on my computer.
3) I pass all the traffic of the virtual machine through the VPN, i.e. I ask her external IP VPN'a.
The task is the following, I want to connect to this virtual machine via a remote connection, but by IP it is VPN'a.
For example, I will try to describe the scheme:
My PC - VirtualBox - VPN (Example: IP 111.111.111) - Internet | Will I be able to connect via remote connection (RDP) from the Internet, via IP 111.111.111 to my virtual machine?
