Changing lenovo bios settings via exploit?
You need to change the hidden Vram setting, the video card memory size is 768mb out of 4gb and on another laptop 2gb out of 8gb or flash the BIOS, laptop S145-15API 81ut laptops
All settings are hidden and locked, there is protection from flashing the modified BIOS, you don’t need to talk about the programmer.
I saw the news today:
According to experts from ESET, the vulnerabilities affect "more than one hundred different models of consumer laptops with millions of users worldwide" and are caused by drivers intended for use only during the development phase of Lenovo products. Affected products include IdeaPad tablets, Legion gaming devices, and Flex and Yoga laptops.
The first vulnerability (CVE-2021-3970) affects the SW SMI handler function and is caused by incorrect input validation. It allows attackers to read/write to SMRAM, which in turn can lead to malicious code executing with SMM privileges and deploying SPI flash implants.
Two other vulnerabilities (CVE-2021-3971 and CVE-2021-3972) are related to the SecureBackDoor and SecureBackDoorPeim drivers.
Attackers with high enough privileges can use CVE-2021-3971 to change UEFI firmware settings, and CVE-2021-3972 requires tampering with NVRAM variables to deploy malicious implants.
