Changing ip in DNS using scripts (not DynDNS). Maybe?
Hello. There are two providers, one primary, one backup. The whole thing works on MIkrotik, if the main provider falls, then another one automatically turns on. On both providers static external IP. There is a certain domain name where the ip address of the main provider is registered, we usually change it manually, but it happens that the provider falls, for example, at night, and the domain’s performance is quite critical, no big downtime is expected. So the question arose, is it possible to somehow change the information about the IP address in DNS using scripts? Or even on Mikrotik itself... I know that there are all sorts of dynamic DNS services, but alas, the domain has been in use for a long time, and some special equipment is accessing it, which is just a sea, you can’t reconfigure the old domain to a new one everywhere.
