Change limits (ulimit) to RHEL root user?

Hello everyone, I experimented with setting limits in /security/limits.conf, set the nofile -1 parameter to the root user, now I can’t log in :), there are other users on the server, but they are not sudo, Dear community, tell me how to change the user, using the su - root command, is it possible to set the limits correctly (Perhaps using setrlimit)? Well, or tell me options how this parameter can be returned / changed. Thank you!

Never experiment with root
Open the server console.
Reboot.
Enter single (or emergency) mode.
Mount filesystems (or at least / remount to rw)
Fix limits.conf
Reboot.
And never experiment with root again

One of the two
1) reboot into single user mode, and fix it
2) boot from resque disk, mount the system disk, and fix it
