IDE for Vala/C?

Please advise the most mature, convenient, up-to-date IDE/editor/editor plugin for Vala . Thank you.
os: linux
Vim, Sublime, Emacs are obvious options.

I once used Val (a) IDE , I was a bit damp, maybe something has changed now.

Geany knows how to use vala too.

As far as I know monodevelop supports. But I haven't tried it myself, I don't use vala.

Vala is a great language and the IDE I use is geany

I am using geany. Also works in atom
