Ceramic enclosures for devices?

5eee7290e5cce368633827.png

In 2014, a company introduced a ceramic breathalyzer called Lapka bam. Now, unfortunately, nothing is heard about them, but it seems like guys from Russia. The topic of manufacturing polymer ceramic cases is very interesting, but why is there no information about this technology after 5 years at all. Maybe there is a technical name?
What are the pros and cons you see in such cases? Are they current at the moment?

Cons: fragile, expensive
Pros: show-off
In short - all this garbage here and there is nothing about it. It's cheaper to stamp everything from ordinary plastic.

There is only one plus, unusualness, and dofiga minuses.
Standard plastic cases are equipped with latches and assembled with screws / screws.
Ceramics cannot snap into place and a screw cannot be screwed into it, for example, thin ventilation grilles cannot be made (0.5 mm of ceramics will crack from inaccurate pressing with a finger) or, for example, a snap-on battery cover.
Yes, and just do it is difficult to get a body of some form different from the primitive. The same Lapka bam is a ceramic tube with a slot on the side into which the plastic case of the device is already inserted.
