Cash on delivery MacBook sale, iCloud scam, how to avoid?
Please tell me, I want to sell a macbook by sending it to the buyer cash on delivery. What are the guarantees that he will not come to the post office, there, during the check of the goods, he will not enter his data into iCloud, refuse the macbook and send it back to me, and then block it to me remotely and demand money.
Can you please tell me if there is any way to avoid this?

Firstly, in order to send goods by cash on delivery, as far as I know, you need to have an individual entrepreneur or other legal entity. Boxberry
works with individuals .
Secondly, the goods will be unpacked only after payment. And you can do a refund. But only upon receipt of the laptop back.
This is called a safe deal .
Already have a buyer?
When sending a parcel by cash on delivery by mail, the buyer, not the seller, is at risk. The buyer first gives the money, then receives a sealed package. And if the weight matches, and inside is not a macbook, but a piece of a board, no one will return the money to him. At least, this is how the post office works in Belarus.
