Cancel a Unity 3d subscription?
When subscribing to Unity, even when using the free version, a window pops up that says that it cannot be canceled or suspended.
This point is not entirely clear - what if I signed up for Pro, started developing a game, pay for Unity and suddenly have to give up development. Does that mean I have to pay more? Or can I leave Unity Pro, go back to Free? How it works?
In this article , the author writes that he had to pay the debt for Unity, although development was suspended.
So if I start development and then stop it for a year, then later I have to pay for the whole missed year in order to use Unity again?

As far as I understand the wording: if you bought a subscription for a year, then in the middle of the year you cannot refuse it, i.e. even if you deactivate the license in, say, February, you will have to pay for the whole year.
A fairly logical step would be to ask this question on the official Unity forum or write to the account manager, instead of reading the subjective opinions of the internets.
