Can Zipkin be considered a monitoring system?

Hello everyone, I'm interested in the Zipkin system . But I didn’t find the following in the documentation:
is this a system for single execution traces (if it’s a very rough comparison, it’s a kind of profiler), and it’s not suitable for constant monitoring of metrics when compared with graphite, for example?
Or is this thing intended for constant tracing, as something that combines a lightweight profiler, logger and metrics system?

Not regarding Zipkin.
If with the help of any tool you manage to monitor something, you can call it a monitoring system specifically in your case. It's just a question of terminology.
Just do it of course "Zipkin is a distributed tracing system"
