Artificial intelligence
Andrew, 2011-08-16 11:50:30

Can you tell me the companies that use artificial intelligence in their developments?

I'm starting to study the subject of "artificial intelligence". I wonder who is doing this now and where it will be possible to find work later. I also want to understand by vacancies what requirements in terms of programming languages are presented.

UPD. I removed the mention of neural networks, since the whole area is of interest.

Not true about ABBYY, this company has different text recognition mechanisms.
I was at one of their lectures, where they said that they tried to use neural networks for text recognition five times - all attempts were faked, as a result of which the word "neuron" and its derivatives are ignored within the walls of the company :)

They have a vacancy. In general, IMHO, neural networks are just a recently promoted topic.
In reality, they are rarely used.

PEACOCK Techno.
Like using neurons.
But in general, recognition on neurons is not very realistic.
At the pascal challenge recognition competitions, I did not meet neurons, there are classifiers like a decision tree, etc.

Yandex, Google, Vkontakte, Facebook, Twitter, etc. All have fairly tight connections with neural networks. I add to them everyone who is engaged in recognition of graphic images, etc. Quite a lot of such companies
