Yota

Can you make friends with a not too “fresh” TP-LINK WR-1043ND router and a Yota usb modem?

There is a 1043ND (v1) router on the Atheros AR9132 chip - can I connect a Yota 4g modem to it?
There is a way to connect a 3g whistle on the network (with OpenWRT), but I didn’t find it on 4g - I don’t know, maybe the router doesn’t fit in hardware.
PS I haven’t bought a Yota modem yet, while I’m interested - if it’s possible to connect through my router, then there’s no point in more expensive models, but if you can’t connect to my router, then you’ll have to take a more expensive yota device.
