Can you already use flexbox with confidence?
I’m thinking of switching to flexbox layout, I see that the compatibility seems to be almost excellent, but a colleague at work says that flexbox still doesn’t work properly and there may be bugs on different devices (some types of mobile phones, tablets) and I thought about it, but do you need to switch to it? Who has experience with flexbox layout, tell me if it is worth switching to flexbox? Wouldn't it be necessary to redo everything the old fashioned way, with floats? What nuances can arise in such layout with flexbox? Can they all be made up?

Can. In general, you yourself can understand by answering the following questions:
- Support for which browser versions is required by the TK?
- What specific flexbox features are you going to use, and are they supported by the required browser versions?
- What percentage of site visitors can be on unsupported browser versions? Does it make sense to bother with fixes or abandon modern technologies for the sake of 1 visitor in 1000? And given the fact that in a year this figure will be 1 in 10,000? Or can you safely, from a business point of view, hammer a bolt on this unique person?
Worldwide / Runet statistics are good for the big picture, but do not correspond to the harsh reality of a particular site. For some enterprise consulting, you will need IE support, possibly up to versions 7-8. For a site like a toaster / habr, you can safely use it - here the audience uses fresh software. I hope the train of thought is clear.

You can look at browser version support and compatibility issues where flexbox is partially supported.
The question is asked with enviable regularity.
For most projects (80-90%) - yes, it is already possible. But not always. Whether your specific project is in the minority - only you and the customer can know (depends on the audience, subject matter, budget, payback, etc.).
