Can Yandex Alice work in the background?

Good afternoon. Yandex has Alice. But I just can’t figure out if it can work in the background like Google does. Those. at least when I'm just on the desktop (nothing is running, nothing is pressed, just the desktop is waiting) - at most when the phone is sleeping (i.e. the OS is running, the screen is off)

As far as I understand, it can’t.
I tried to set up work in the background, but it didn’t work out
