Can windows 10 cause disk to stop? The problem is that it costs windows 10 from time to time the disk stops, I thought the problem in the disk is that the disk has been dying for more than 6 years, despite the fact that CrystalDiskInfo says that everything is fine, just like the standard disk check from windows. The disk was cloned using acronis to an almost new disk that was on the home server. The problem persisted.

In power management, disable Disk Stop.

res2001 - right, the power supply may be to blame.
+ It can also be turned off when idle. When idle for 300 seconds (default), hdd parks the head. (Correct me if I'm wrong with the numbers)
