Can the site itself hide information from the provider?

Hello!
I must say right away: I am incompetent in this matter and he can be stupid. I am interested in whether the Internet portal itself, to which the user accesses, can in any way hide all his actions from the provider of this user? That is, the provider will only be able to see that the user is visiting the site, and what he is doing and how he is doing it will remain completely unclear to him.

Traffic encryption - ssl (https). The provider will record only the fact of information transfer, but the content will not be recognized.
