Can the processor cover be removed?
Greetings
Is it possible to remove the processor cover at home? What for? - just curious)
Once I saw a video about how processors are assembled in a factory and I remember (probably | possible) that they are assembled in sealed conditions. Now I saw on the net how people independently remove processor covers with a vice or with blades to replace thermal interfaces. When attaching the lid to the process, moist air can also get in when heated | cooling inside, condensation may form with all the ensuing consequences. Is it so? If so, then there are workshops that do such operations. Are they handicraft or do they have some special equipment?
PS
The same is supposed to apply to hard drives. When I was in the most famous workshop in Moscow, they made HDDs: they opened the lid in the room, closed it, and that's it ...
