Can the printer be connected to a wireless network via LAN?
Hello!
There are printers (OKI ES5463 and Canon IR ADV C2225) I need to connect them to users' laptops.
The problem is that the workplaces are located in a huge room (exhibition center) and there is only Wi-Fi (cables have not been laid yet, and maybe they will not be laid)
OKI ES5463 has a Wi-Fi module, but I can’t connect to the network, when when trying to connect, it writes "waiting time" - I think there is a "waiting time has expired", probably this is due to the fact that the network is expanding from the router with a bunch of repeaters, but by the way, phones and laptops work without problems.
Canon IR ADV C2225 has only a LAN port...
I don't have access to the router itself, but I have an idea
Will it work if I connect the new router to a wireless network,
If not, please tell me how to solve this problem.
And if the directions are correct, then what is the best way to configure the router, like a repeater or WDS connection?
Thank you all for your help!!!
With coming!

If you configure the 'network bridge' mode between wifi and lan in the router, then yes it should work.
The wifi module probably expects the network to be 2.4Ghz, and for example, you have the entire network at 5Ghz, it’s still quite possible that you have some kind of encryption mode set up unexpectedly, android did it, but the printer, where wifi is usually done for show, did not expect this.
hehe
If a wired LAN and wireless LAN are connected to the same subnet, the communication may be unstable.
You don't need a router, but a WIFI access point. Modern routers can also act as an access point.
